The IMC Electrical group strives to design reliable and efficient electrical systems that integrate with the design plans of the architect and owner. The most common aspects of electrical design in any commercial facility include power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and emergency generation.
Aside from its electrical subspecialties such as nurse call, close circuit T.V., security systems and access control, IMC prides itself on its broad achievements in lighting design. IMC’s lighting design expertise ranges from major sports arenas to architectural lighting and interior spaces to specialized lighting design projects.
In addition to traditional commercial design, IMC has created a niche for designing electrical systems for municpal-owned industrial facilities such as drainage pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants and lift stations, and transportation terminals. Design experience for these facilities includes high mast lighting, large motor starting, prime and standby generation, DC battery banks and chargers for switchgear controls, SCADA systems and Process Control/Instrumentation Systems.
